How do I make adobe reader my default for opening pdf files.?
Q. Everytime i open a pdf file it opens it with word and nothing comes up. Instead of saving the file and re opening with adobe, can i just make adobe reader the default?

A. Go to all Programs, then go to default programs, then go to set associations, scroll to pdf and in the upper right you'll see a button that says change program.

What parts is a fingerprint reader made of?
Q. I have a friend, who for her university course, should submit a project in which she should say what parts a fingerprint reader is made of, and how much it would cost if she were to create it herself (imagining that she could do the programming and such). I am looking for websites that can give general information of what parts the device is made of, and present an image of each of them. Thank you in advance.

A. The one I had my fingerprints done on a week ago had a glass surface that was edge lighted so that touching it changed the reflective qualities, a front surface mirror so the unit was flat (reflecting the image back instead of down in an upright unit) and a camera for imaging. I can imaging a much smaller and cheaper device - like for keyboard finger print scanning that would use fine capacitive elements. Not much to either - start with these
